1 - BILOCIL®sensitive - cures fish of egg-laying Dactylogyrus species and viviparous Gyrodactylus species and also has a reducing effect on flagellates in the intestine of the fish during worm treatment.

Cichlids, especially discus fish, are often heavily infested with gill flukes (Dactylogyrus spp.). If left untreated, these parasitic infections are responsible for animals slowly sieving to death. Young fish and smaller fish species die from the parasites after a short period of time in case of a massive infestation and sensitive to BILOCIL® must be treated immediately. Viparous skin flukes (Gyrodactylus spp.) are often a problem with all viviparous ornamental fish.

1 - TRICHOSAL® - effectively fights bacterial infections and fungal diseases. The causative agents are Flexibacter Columnaris, gram-negative bacteria, found in the mucus of the skin and gills of fish,

Pseudomonas spp. causes bleeding and ulcers on the skin.

Mycoses (fungal diseases) are caused by the pathogens Saprolegnia parasitica and Achlya and disappear after treatment with TRICHOSAL®.

Spawning fungi in ornamental fish farming can be avoided by prophylaxis with TRICHOSAL®.
